【オールノットとは？】


本真珠のネックレスを制作する時に使われる技法で
珠と珠が擦れたり傷がついたりしないように
珠と珠の間に結び目を作る製法です


結び目があることで動きと柔軟性があり、
万が一糸が切れてもダメージを最小限に抑えることができます


現在では美しいオールノットをできる職人が
ほとんど残っていないため
多くの本真珠のネックレスでもオールノットは使われず
真珠の間にシリコンのパッドを入れているものがほとんどですが


この商品は熟練の職人によって
美しいオールノットでの仕上がりになっており
長くお使い頂けます

【シェルパール(貝パール)とは】

真珠が採れる貝として知られているアコヤ貝などの
貝殻で作られたビーズに真珠のような光沢のある塗装を
施したイミテーションパールで貝パールとも呼ばれています

シェルパールは養殖真珠で使われているのと同じ
天然の貝核(マザーオブパール)を
球体に成形したものを用いているため
ビーズ自体に自然な重みがあります

当商品に使われているシェルパールは
日本のビーズ工場で20年以上前に開発された
オリジナル塗料を使用しています
限りなく本真珠に近い美しい光沢を持ち
耐久性に優れているため
変色や塗料の剥がれが起こりにくく
長くご愛用頂けるものとなっております

金具は全て日本製のロジウムメッキのヴィンテージ品
最近のメッキよりも厚みのあるメッキのため
劣化しにくく丈夫で長くお使い頂けます

【What are shell pearls?】

Shell pearls are imitation pearls made from shells of Akoya oysters,
which are known to produce pearls, and painted with a luster like pearls,
and are also called shell pearls.


Shell pearls are made from the same natural mother-of-pearl 
nucleus used for cultured pearls and molded into a sphere,
so the beads themselves have a natural weight.

The shell pearls used in this product are made with
an original paint developed more than 20 years ago at a bead factory in Japan.


The paint has a beautiful luster as close to that of real pearls
as possible and is highly durable,
so it is resistant to discoloration and peeling of the paint
and can be used for a long period of time.

【What is an all-knot?】

It is a technique used in the production of genuine pearl necklaces 
in which a knot is made between the pearls to prevent them
from rubbing against each other or getting scratched.

The knot allows for movement and flexibility,
and minimizes damage in the event of a broken thread.

Nowadays, there are few craftsmen left who can make beautiful all-knots,
so most genuine pearl necklaces do not use all-knots,
but silicon pads are placed between the pearls.

However, this product is finished with a beautiful all-knot
by a skilled craftsman and can be used for a long time.

This clasp is Japan vintage.
The gilding is thicker than that of the current version,
so it is less susceptible to deterioration and its beauty.
