アベンチュリンのラインが入っています
ハンドメイド品のため
色むらがあり気泡が入っています

ウランガラスとは

ガラスの着色剤として人体に影響のない
ごく微量のウランが使用されているガラスで
暗闇で紫外線（ブラックライト）を当てると美しく光ります

1830年代頃に北ボヘミア地方（現在のチェコ）で発明され
今からおよそ100年ほど前にヨーロッパを中心に
ウランガラスを使用した日用品や工芸品がたくさん作られていました

ウランガラスは別名vaseline glass(ヴァセリングラス)とも呼ばれており
現在も多くのコレクターに愛されています

About Uranium Glass

Uranium glass is glass that contains a minute,
harmless amount of uranium as a coloring agent.
When exposed to ultraviolet light (blacklight) in the dark,
it glows beautifully.

It was invented in the 1830s
in the Northern Bohemia region (present-day Czech Republic).
About 100 years ago, many everyday items and crafts
made with uranium glass were produced, primarily in Europe.

Uranium glass is also known as
"vaseline glass" and is still loved by many collectors today.
